Past Commodore Bill Carton will be sharing his 2015 sailing adventure aboard the John Alden Malibar VI Schooner Adventurer.

In 2013 Adventurer suffered engine failure in the Delaware Bay on its way to the Gloucester Schooner Festival. In 2014 Adventurer made it to Cape May, NJ only to swing at anchor for a week, along with Schooner AJ Meerwald, waiting out a heavy North wind, losing the window for a safe delivery to the Gloucester Schooner Festival.
